Bread of Life Outreach Ministry

The Bread of Life Outreach Ministry (BOLOM) is the umbrella for all the parish’s outreach. We mainly direct our efforts helping the needy in the Johnson County and Center Grove areas.

Our ministry’s efforts are divided into:

Planned Assistance-Scheduled collections of food, clothing, needed items

Emergency Assistance-Helping those in need of financial assistance (rent, utilities, food, etc.)

Mission Planning-Develop and coordinate the parish mission trip to Kentucky. Help underwrite expenses.

Our yearly mission trip to Kentucky is a phenomenal experience.  Click here to read the BLOG and see pictures from the 2008 trip.

A message from your BOL Commission:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the generous members of our parish who have made contributions to the ministry.  Whether you use the green envelopes to provide financial support, volunteer for the mission trip, donate items during one (1) of our many drives for the needy, or give of your time by helping out at our Thanksgiving Food Pantry, your kindness is much appreciated!

If you would like to receive periodic E-mails describing upcoming activities of the Commission, please send your E-mail address to Christie Jansing at cjansing@adultandchild.org to be added to the E-mail address list.

Thank you and God bless!

The BOLOM’s Mission is:

SS. Francis & Clare’s Bread of Life Outreach, through the examples and writings of our Patron Saints, will provide the parish members an opportunity to fulfill their Christian obligation to minister to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of all.
