Parish Nurse Ministry

To provide holistic care for parish members
through the provisions of nursing assessment,
planning, implementation and evaluation of
non-invasive nursing interventions, to offer
support for the social, emotional, physical, and
spiritual health of church members by
coordinating health promotion and disease
prevention activities within the parish through
collaboration with other parish committees and
community resources.
Blood
Drive
Chairperson - Brenda Ormes
This ministry organizes the annual blood drive
for the Central Indiana Regional Blood Bank. It
is held semi-annually with preparations
beginning about two months in advance.
CARE Ministry

The Care Ministry provides ministry to the sick,
and their care providers, as well as the
bereaved. This is done through communion,
outreach programs and in collaboration with the
parish nurse ministries.
Bereavement

This ministry hopes to offer comfort and
opportunities for those who ore bereaved.
Funeral Meals
Chairperson – Donna Carter
This ministry provides food for a meal after
the funeral of a parishioner.
Transportation
Contact Person: Jackie Buchanan, 859-4673
Individuals volunteering for this ministry
would be available to transport parishioners to
medical appointments, mass and other parish
programs.
Visiting the
Sick
Contact Person: Jackie Buchanan, 859-4673
Individuals in this ministry make regular
visits to homes and hospitals to visit
parishioners who are sick.
