Dear Friends in Christ,

Three (3) years ago our parish participated in the archdiocesan-wide Legacy for Our Mission Capital Campaign.  Monies raised from this endeavor were to be used to support projects at both the parish and archdiocesan levels.  At SSFC we used our proceeds from the campaign to create a Master Site Plan and construct the Assisi Center.  Funds designated for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis are being used to support broader ministries and projects as designated by Archbishop Daniel Buechlein.

We are now in the home stretch of this three (3) year campaign.  It will officially come to a close at the end of this calendar year.  I want to encourage everyone to honor the financial commitments we all made back in 2005.  In doing so you will help us realize all the goals we set out to achieve.

Now that we are nearing the end of the Legacy for Our Mission campaign I have put together a Master Site Review Committee.  The task of this group is to fine tune our Master Site Plan and give guidance and direction on which phase of the plan we need to implement next.  If you recall, the original plan called for three (3) phases for growth and expansion:

[1] More educational space

[2] Expansion of seating in the church

[3] Family Life Center/Gymnasium

The Committees’ recommendations will be presented to the parish early this coming fall.  Please keep this group in your prayers asking God to give us the guidance and wisdom we need to know what He is calling us to do next in order to build up the faith community of SSFC.
