Christian Youth Organization Events

Objective

The objective of CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) athletics is to be well organized, uniform in philosophy, properly supervised and provide opportunities for youth to develop physical fitness, self-discipline, mental alertness, and an attitude of good sportsmanship based upon Catholic principles of fair play and cooperation.

Under the SSFC CYO Ministry, parish youth have the opportunity to participate in the following sports:

Registration and Fees

In order to participate in CYO sports, children (and their parents) must:


  • Register on-line with the Indianapolis Archdiocese CYO
  • Register with SSFC CYO
  • Obtain an annual physical
  • Complete and submit a medical release form
  • Pay a registration fee (amount of fee varies from sport to sport)
  • Volunteer Opportunities

    The SSFC CYO Ministry is operated entirely by selfless volunteers with a desire to see our parish youth develop physically, socially, and spiritually. The SSFC CYO Ministry welcomes anyone who has an interest in volunteering in any capacity -- for example, coach, assistant coach, registration, facilities maintenance, concession duty, gate duty, fundraising, etc.
