Because of the amount and scope of its responsibility, and to broaden its activities and encourage the use of the gifts and talents of other parishioners, the pastoral council has adopted the commission structure. Each of these commission assists the council in planning, policy development and coordination of activities within a specific area of the parish's ministry. Commissions help the parish develop and care for the human, physical, and financial resources that are necessary to carry out its mission and ministries.
